Terms and Conditions
Exceptional South Africa Imports & Exports c.c. (trading as Exceptional Health) is a business in the South African health care sector that markets a range of Nasal and Dental complementary medicines as well as dental care products of a preventative, anti-bacterial nature (Spry, Xlear, Xylosweet, SparX). It is also the sole importer and distributor of the Baby Banana Brush range of products.
Agreement of Sale:
An agreement of sale between Exceptional Health and a customer is only valid once payment has been made and the company has received proof of payment. Until the payment is cleared in our bank account, the goods remain the property of Exceptional Health.
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3 working days of order. Shipping details, including the Tracking number, will be confirmed by way of email. The cost of the shipping is included at checkout. You accept that in order for us to prove delivery of an order, we do not have to prove that you personally received the goods, but rather that any person at the delivery address signed for the parcel. Additional Delivery issues to be aware of:
Whilst we pass on all customer requests to our courier company, we cannot guarantee that the driver will be able to call you before delivery or at any other time during the delivery run. Common reasons may include:
- The courier company's franchisee may not provide this service
- The cell-phone is out of airtime or battery
- There is no reception in your area
- The driver is unaccompanied and may not have the facilities to call while driving

Return and Refunds policy:
The provision of goods and services by Exceptional Health is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Exceptional Health will refund the client in full within 10 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 10 % administration fee, if not already dispatched. If the order has already been sent out, the client undertakes to return the goods at his/her own cost, and the same 10% administration fee will be deducted from the refund. Products damaged during postage must be reported within 2-3 days of receipt for full replacement.
Exceptional Health shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:
Payment options accepted:
Payment may be made directly to us via EFT, or through our Payfast option. Payfast accepts payments from Mastercard and VISA Credit cards, Debit Cards (PayD), and Instant EFT from the four major banks. For those who use (or would like to use) Snapscan, this option is also available when using any device other than the one you have your Snapscan app on. (You would obviously need this device to photograph the Snapscan code)
Credit Card Payments:
Credit card transactions will be processed for Exceptional Health by PayFast (Pty) Ltd. PayFast is a highly respected company that provides an extremely SAFE and SECURE payments processing service developed to the same exacting standards of security and performance as banking and share-trading websites. Your account login, personal details and all financial transactions are secured using Secure Socket Layer (SSL3) technology with the highest 256 bit encryption.
Credit Card Security:
It is a very good habit to avoid conducting any financial transactions on public (non-secured) networks such as those provided at restaurants and airports. If you only use a secure network (one that no-one else but you has access to) for such transactions, then an online purchase is more secure than any transaction concluded in any public place, like a shop or restaurant. None of your details are ever recorded (or even seen). Transactions are done on PayFast's Secure site (HTTPS). For an additional layer of protection, we recommend registering with your bank's 3D SECURE program (Verified By VISA or Mastercard SecureCode) if you have not already done so. This involves the use of a One Time Password (OTP) that is sent to your cellphone or email.
Customer details separate from card details:
Exceptional Health does not store any Credit Card information whatsoever, but only your Name, addresses, telephone number/s and email address. This is because your credit card information is only ever entered on PayFast's secure website. As mentioned in the above paragraph, Payfast does not store this sensitive information either.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency:
The merchant outlet country is the Republic of South Africa, and the transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Exceptional Health takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and the delivery of goods. It is the customer's duty to provide all information accurately, act in good faith, and understand the terms laid out in this document.
Country of domicile:
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Exceptional Health chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature,
